Delta 594, Prolong Plus 598, Poly-Sperse 543 products are mainly used in milk, whey, or lactose evaporator process. Delta 594 can be used in whey or lactose RO membrane systems to prevent mineral fouling as well. Prolong Plus 598 is used in milk evaporators to reduce “white scorch particles” on sediment disk testing during production runs. White scorch refers to deposits that look like eggshell that develop during production and fallout into the finished product. These white scorch particles can cause filter fouling for the end users of the milk powder.

For Human Food

Delta No. 594 is manufactured from ingredients that are Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) and meet the specifications of the Food Complex Codex (FCC) for its intended use and application as a processing aid.

Prolong Plus No. 598 is manufactured from ingredients that are Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) and meet the specifications of the Food Chemical Codex (FCC) for its intended use and application as a processing aid.

Poly-Sperse No. 543 may be used as a mineral scale inhibitor in the evaporative processing of beet and cane sugar juice liquor, not to exceed a maximum level of 400 ppm in the sugar juice liquor.

Poly-Sperse No. 543 is NOT approved for use in products intended to be used in INFANT FORMULA.

Poly-Sperse No. 543 has not been evaluated for non-U.S. (export) compliance.

 

For Animal Feed

Delta No. 594 is acceptable for use in animal feed applications, as long as, not more than is needed to achieve the intended effect is used.
