Hydroxysan HP Acid is an OMRI listed no-rinse acid sanitizer used in the dairy, food and beverage processing industry for CIP and COP pipeline, tank and equipment cleaning. With regular use at proper concentrations, Hydroxysan HP Acid will prevent the formation of milkstone, beerstone and mineralstone deposits. Hydroxysan HP Acid is primarily for use on stainless steel and plastic materials of construction. Do not use on aluminum or other soft metal.

Applications
Hydroxysan HP Acid is an oxidizing sanitizer. It exhibits excellent bactericidal activity against microorganisms in cold or warm water. This product is effective as a sanitizer when solution is prepared in water of up to 400 ppm hardness as CaCO3. It contains no nitric acid. Hydroxysan HP Acid is stable for a minimum of 12 months under normal conditions. It ultimately degrades to oxygen, water and carbon dioxide in the effluent stream. Use Hydroxysan HP Acid at 0.7 – 3.0 fl. oz. per 6 gallons of hard water (Providing 68-286 ppm active peroxyacetic acid). Do not exceed 140°F for the sanitizing solution.
