Ammonium Bisulfite Solutions

Ammonium Bisulfite 50%, 60%, 60%, and 70% are an ABS solution containing that contains the included percentage of ammonium bisulfite by weight. Ammonium Bisulfite is used in a variety of application including dechlorination, oxygen scavenging and heavy metal reduction.


Magnesium Bisulfite Solutions

Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS)


Source of magnesium and SO2 during fructose manufacturing

These Magnesium Bisulfite (MBS) Varients are solutions with SO2 to Mg ratios that very from 5.3 to 1.0 and is primarily used in the enzymatic production of fructose. However, MBS 7330 is used for the removal of iron cyanide from wastewater streams.


Sodium Bisulfite Solutions

Food Grade

These Sodium Bisulfite solution variations contain either 30%, 38%, or 40% sodium bisulfite by weight. The food grade specific products are manufactured under cGMP and approved for use in food applications. Food-grade SBS is commonly used as a preservative in food manufacturing processes. It is also used in the manufacturing of paper intended for direct food contact applications. For the tech grade solution, industrial-grade sodium bisulfite is often used as a dechlorination agent in the papermaking process.
