Application: Phosphoric acid is a strong mineral acid most often used in fertilizers. The vast majority of phosphoric acid is used as a phosphorous source in fertilizers, but it also has application as an acidifier food additive, as a rust inhibitor, in cleaning products, and as a dispersing agent.
