Glycol ether EB is a solvent that dissolves hydrophobic and water-soluble compounds. Glycol ether EB is a solvent for paints and surface coatings, cleaning products, and inks. Glycol ether EB also has uses in fracturing fluids, drilling stabilizers, oil slick dispersants, household and industrial cleaning products, and herbicides. It is also approved for use as a food additive.
