Application: Ferric chloride is an inorganic compound primarily used in water/sewage treatment and drinking water production. It is a strong Lewis acid and acts as a flocculant when added to slightly basic water, removing suspended materials. Ferric chloride also has use in etching copper, specifically for printed circuit boards.
Compatibility: Ferric chloride is incompatible with bases, cyanides, sulfites, and strong oxidizing or reducing agents. Please see SDS for full safety and compatibility information.
Packaging Options: Typically available in drums, totes, and bulk. Contact us or ask your representative for further information.
