Tripotassium citrate (TPC) is used as a mineral enhancing agent and helps improve the taste profile of plant-based products. It may also be used for a low sodium alternative.
Tripotassium Citrate is produced in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) under a comprehensive HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) program. Our TPC is manufactured in facilities that are GFSI/FSMA compliant. Tripotassium Citrate is considered “GRAS” (Generally Recognized As Safe) by the United States Food and Drug Administration without restriction as to the quantity of use within good manufacturing practice.
