Each September we offer weekly, one-hour Food Safety Fridays webinars focusing on food safety and sanitation. These short-form, topical sessions include supplemental information that builds off of our two-day food safety, sanitation, and membrane trainings.

Billy will review in plant cleaning protocols and look at novel opportunities within the meat and poultry sectors for plant optimizations. With increasing awareness regarding reduced microbial loading within an operation and the increasing pressures on process throughput and efficiencies, options will be explored using intervention chemistries and unique process applications to potentially drive costs lower.  Join us for the webinar that will discuss utilizing a blend of chemistry and equipment to help address these always present issues.

About Billy

Billy is responsible for program development and implementation of intervention chemistries at Hydrite and customers. He began his career with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and has over 15 years of experience in the food industry. Billy’s focus is meat and poultry intervention strategies and applications a food safety focus. Billy is actively involved in several meat and poultry trade organization such as the National Chicken Council and National Turkey Federation.
