Applications

Hydrogen peroxide is the simplest peroxide and most commonly available oxidizer. The majority of all hydrogen peroxide is used in pulp and paper bleaching. It has a myriad of other uses including many applications as a cleaning agent, removing organic impurities in wastewater treatment, and in the home as a topical disinfectant at low concentrations.

Compatibilities

Hydrogen peroxide is an oxidizing agent and is incompatible with reducing agents, organic compounds, acids, flammable liquids, most metals, alcohols, and acetone. Please see SDS for full safety and compatibility information.
